Russian Verbs That Can Be Both Perfective and Imperfective

Did you know that there are some Russian verbs that can be both perfective or imperfective depending on the context?

1, Verbs with the suffixes ова(ть), ирова(ть)атаковатьорганизоватьтелеграфировать, etc.

2. Verbs with the suffixes: а(ть), е(ть), и(ть): венчатьобещатьвелетьженитьказнитьранить, etc.

Я регулярно организую встречи преподавателей. I organise teachers’ meetings regularly. (Imperfective).

Ты обещала-обещала, но не пришла. You promised and promised, but you never came. (Imperfective).
