Russian Prepositions в, на and к

July 1, 2018 | Tags: Russian prepositions

Did you know that we use the prepositions в and на with the Accusative case when we mean “to go somewhere” and we use the preposition к with the Dative case when we want to say “to go to a place where somebody is, go visit somebody”.

For example,

Завтра я иду в поликлинику. Tomorrow I am going to the health centre.

Завтра я иду к врачу. Tomorrow I am going to the doctor.
