Instrumental Case with Seasons

Did you know that the Instumental case is always used with the names of the seasons?

For example,

Осенью часто идёт дождь.
It often rains in autumn.

Прошлой зимой было очень холодно.
It was very cold last winter.

Прошлым летом мы ездили в Аргентину.
Last summer we went to Argentina.

Следующей весной мы поженимся.
Next spring we will get married.
