Testimonials of the students of the Online Russian school Russificate
I have been studying Russian for almost two years, but it was only three months ago that I discovered how beautiful this language is. I turned to Yulia Amlinskaya for help due to my difficulties in passing my university Russian exams.
I was then introduced to my teacher, Roman Stoyanov, with whom I went through all the topics covered at university, seen under a different perspective and explained in a completely different way from the standard university teaching methods. He has been clarifying all my questions and filling all the gaps in my understanding with the help of exercises provided by me and a lot of material written by him personally or taken from textbooks.
I think Roman is a fantastic teacher: his patience, availability and sympathy is helping me get results I never dreamed of being able to achieve at university! I’m really excited about his lessons and I recommend to anyone who wants to learn or improve his/her Russian to contact the team of Russificate and Roman! 🙂 You will be in good hands, guaranteed!
I have been very interested in the Russian language for many years, but always thought it sounded very strange and was extremely difficult and the truth is that in my country I could not find anyone reliable to teach me Russian, so I decided to look for a native speaker.
One day I watched a presentation from the Russian school Russificate on Youtube and then found it on the Internet.
I fully recommend it. I have not had the pleasure yet of having classes with Yulia, just an email exchange, but she has always been very friendly and dispelled all of my doubts.
I’m taking classes with a wonderful, talented teacher, Alyona Belikhina. She’s just great, very patient, professional in explanations and has a good knowledge of the Russian language. She always exceeds my expectations of the lessons; I could not be more satisfied with my teacher. I would like to highlight some important points in her way of teaching and personality:
- Original teaching methods;
- Professional approach towards the student;
- All questions easily clarified;
- Provides all the necessary materials to make the class more interactive.
For anyone who is looking to learn the Russian language in an organized, professional way, with the help of a top team, Russificate School is the certainly best choice and Alyona, the best teacher!
Here in Italy it is very difficult to find professional Russian language teachers, many “pretend” to be teachers, but have no right to teach.
If you want quality service with visible results, the Russificate school is for you.
At the moment I’m doing lessons with Alyona and I am very happy.
Alyona is a very serious and well prepared teacher, her lessons are very enjoyable and challenging,
and thanks to her teaching my progress is visible in a short time.
Therefore I can fully recommend the Russificate school to all people who want to
learn the Russian language in an effective and fast way.
I have been working with Elena as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language for about 9 months now and I am fully satisfied with her professional skills and teaching style. Elena applies both a flexible style of teaching to accomodate the students individual goals as well ensures that relevant language competencies such as grammar, reading, writing, listening and pronunciation are developed holistically.
Elena creates an atmosphere in her lessons which is friendly and supportive but at the same time motivating for the student such that the goals in language learning are reached at a high pace.
I can fully recommend Elena as a teacher.
In summer 2012, I took private Russian lessons from Vika. I was impressed with her method of teaching and the quality of the materials she provided. I studied with the book she wrote, which is comprehensive and modern. I strongly recommend her as a teacher of Russian.
I wanted to reach out to thank Viktoria deeply for the Russian classes that we had together. Whilst at this time my schedule is not enabling me to continue with the classes, to my deep disappointment, the classes we had together were very useful and I do hope to restart again.
As a student at the very earliest level of learning Russian, Viktoria’s methodology and approach was highly effective to my needs. I found her approach to be very effective and feel that she prepares a student to learn in a very holistic way, ensuring that the basis of the language learning is covered and providing strong foundations to really learn Russian in a professional manner. I also found her approach to be highly motivating and encouraging to me. Even though the classes were conducted remotely, I did not feel the ‘distance’ in my learning, due to her motivational approach and personal attitude towards teaching.
I hope that soon I will be able to continue with my classes, but in the meantime, I thank her for the knowledge shared with me and wish her all the best in bringing language skills to others!
Mikhail Yurievich is one of the best tutors of Russian as a second language that I have met during the time of my studying it.
He is well and honestly prepared for the lessons, bringing own (author’s) materials to every lesson for reading and discussing, grammar exercises, lexical exercises (including the typical cliché phrases from the speaking language and slang) and dialogues for the development of speech. Among the materials there are also practice and visualisation of the correct pronunciation, which is absent in the typical textbooks of Russian as a second language, although it is especially important for the foreigners.
With this combination of the different didactic methods, Mikhail Yurievich, systematically develops all 4 language competencies in all types of students. He is an experienced tutor, who actively and constructively uses own knowledge of the language problems, connected with the interference of the students’ mother tongue.
Mikhail Yurievich’s lessons are always led in a good mood and in a pleasant atmosphere. With his natural charm and a good sense of humour, he finds common ground and understanding with every student, and also ways to motivate students in discussions of any topic. During the discussion, the student forgets that he is speaking a foreign language; in this way eventually eliminating the language barriers and fear of mistakes. On the other hand, thanks to his wide range of interests he is prepared to lead the lesson on any topic that interests the student; and to answer any questions connected with the history and the culture of Russia.
Work with Mikhail Yurievich is always interesting and helpful!
I have heard many good things about Mikhail Yurievich from my course-mates during my first year at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Viennese University. In the summer semester 2014 I had the opportunity to meet him personally during my exchange at the MSU in the name of Lomonosov in Moscow. For me it was a big surprise, as I did not expect to meet a lecturer in Moscow who has worked earlier in Vienna. Mikhail Yurievich established himself as a literate lecturer, perfectly knowing his subject, possessing modern knowledge and skills in the area of pedagogy, psychology and methods of teaching. He thoroughly approached the choice of the contents of the course, responsibly regarded the choice of tasks set for the students. Lectures were always led in an interactive form. Mikhail Yurievich built connections with the students, taking into consideration their individual and age related qualities. I especially enjoyed that with him we studied not only the literary language but also the speaking language, which is very important in the everyday life in Moscow. Also the discussion topics were very interesting and we had the opportunity to get to know a lot about each other.
The materials used by Mikhail Yurievich were not only interesting and helpful, but also very well developed didactically, due to the fact that he always, for example, tried to put the stress into the spoken word and explain everything in Russian instead of just translating into English.
The atmosphere in the lessons was fantastic, no-one was afraid to speak in Russian, even if they made mistakes. Mikhail Yurievich always found ways to correct mistakes without offending anyone. Studying with Mikhail Yurievich does not only mean language improvement but also a good time pass and a great mood. I definitely recommend lessons with him!!
Mikhail Yurievich was my tutor of the Russian language in 2014 during the first semester at the MSU in the name of Lomonosov. With him we studied the grammar rules and the spoken language at the same time; he understood that the grammar rules- are one thing, but the way that the Russian people speak, in which mode you can interact in Russian, which cliché phrases the Russians use, how to quickly deal with basic, political and philosophical situations, when you need to express your opinion and which songs all the Russian people know and sing- are completely different things and are very important.
We did written exercises and checked them during the lessons. Mikhail Yurievich always gave us dialogues- which in turn established discussions on many different topics, and so in this way all of the students in the group got the opportunity to speak their mind out loud, ask each other questions and so on. Mikhail Yurievich has achieved his goal; no-one was embarrassed or afraid to speak and, in my opinion, this is most important. Every student felt enough confidence to speak freely and to understand that it is possible! In conclusion, I believe that Mikhail Yurievich is a great tutor!
I am extremely happy with the course from Pavel. First of all it is well prepared and well structured. Also it follows my level and progression very well: all my weak points are trapped, worked-out and followed up. It is also very rich, with various contents, in the form of pictures, animations, exercises, texts… Finally there is a room for free conversation which is to me very important because it is not easy to pass the bridge from understanding the language , to the ability to have a conversation I really feel my Learning curve has become steeper since I started this course. It seems to me much more efficient than a traditional classroom course.
